CallText.Chat exists because of a pattern we kept seeing in contractor marketing: the ads worked, the website worked, the phone rang, and then nobody picked up. The owner was on a job, the office was at lunch, or it was 7 p.m. on a Sunday. All the effort that went into making the phone ring was wasted at the very last step. This site is about that last step.
Think of us as the communication and marketing side of a Canadian trades business. We are not a contractor; nobody here installs, repairs or services anything. We help the people who do the work keep hold of the customers who are trying to reach them.
The company behind the site
CallText.Chat is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, serving clients across the country.
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company. Trades.Agency, the brand this site works with most closely, sits under it alongside HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
- SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) is where the group's strategy, AI and revenue-acceleration consulting lives, also Canadian. Ali Sedighi founded it and serves as its Founder & Managing Partner.
Within the group, Trades.Agency is the agency brand for trades businesses, and CallText.Chat is its focused service for missed calls and texting. Our pricing follows the Trades.Agency plans.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi leads the work on this site, and he's the person you'll talk to.
- MBA in Technology Management.
- 17+ years in digital marketing, starting in 2007, when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency.
- Founder of Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency, and MyAutomation.ca.
- Founder & Managing Partner of SAZ.ca.
- Clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
- 150+ live HVAC websites built, including CombiBoiler.ca, CanroHeat.ca and BCWide.ca.
He lives and works in Vancouver. His background in conversion work is why this site focuses so tightly on response: a conversion specialist looks at where people drop out, and for contractors one of the biggest drop-off points is the unanswered phone.
How we work
Texting is easy to switch on and easy to get wrong. We work in a fixed order to avoid the usual mistakes.
- Numbers first. We start with your call log, not with a product. If you're not missing enough calls to justify the effort, we'll tell you.
- Words before tools. We write the first text, the follow-up questions and the hand-off lines before configuring anything, because the wording decides whether people reply.
- Your accounts. Texting tools, numbers and conversation history are in your business's name and paid for directly by you. Nothing is held hostage if you stop working with us.
- Consent habits from day one. Business name in every message, a STOP option, and a record of how each contact reached you. We summarise the official CASL guidance and link to it; we don't give legal advice.
- Read the threads. In the first weeks, we review real conversations with you and rewrite what isn't working.
Why texting, and why now
Callers have changed faster than most phone setups. Many people would rather text than leave a voicemail, and a lot of them won't do either; they'll just call the next company. A focused service for that one moment, between the missed ring and the next competitor, is what CallText.Chat is for.
What we won't do
Being clear about this saves everyone time.
- We won't send bulk promotional texts to contact lists you bought or scraped.
- We won't promise a number of booked jobs. We'll show you how to measure what changes.
- We won't put your customer conversations on a personal mobile or an account in our name.
- We won't write fake urgency ("only 2 spots left!") into your messages.
Our positioning, plainly
CallText.Chat gives Canadian trades and home-service businesses digital marketing and business consulting, focused on calls and texts. We are not a contractor, and we don't install, repair or service any equipment or property. We're also not a phone carrier or a law firm: we help you communicate well, and we point you to official sources when rules apply.
If that sounds like the right fit, see our services, read the results from our HVAC work, or get in touch through the contact page.

No. We are not a contractor, so no installs, repairs or service calls, ever. Our work is marketing, communication and business consulting for the people who do that work.
Who will I actually talk to?
A senior strategist, from the first call. The work is led by Ali Sedighi, and there's no sales team in between.
