Call, text or email; you'll reach a senior strategist. Hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day.

You can reach CallText.Chat by phone, text or email. Phone and text go to (604) 632-4959; email goes to Ali@Sedighi.ca. Our hours: Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. And we usually reply within one business day, often sooner by text. You'll deal with a senior strategist from the first message, not a sales queue.

Since this whole site is about texting, it would be odd if we didn't make texting easy. Text us the way you'd want your own customers to text you: short and to the point.

What happens next

  1. You reach out

Call, text or email with a line about your business.

  2. We reply

Usually within one business day, on the channel you chose.

  3. You talk to a senior strategist

A focused conversation about your goals, market and numbers.

What to include in your first message

Three facts make the first conversation useful. You don't need all of them, but each one saves a round of back-and-forth.

  1. Your trade and where you work. For example, "residential plumbing, [City] and nearby."
  2. Roughly how many calls you get a month, and how many go unanswered. Your phone provider's call log will tell you; an estimate is fine to start.
  3. Who answers the phone today. Just you, you and an office manager, a dispatcher, an answering service?

If you'd like a template, here's one to copy and edit. The brackets are placeholders:

Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name]. We're a [trade] business in [City] with [number] people. We get about [number] calls a month and miss maybe [number]. Interested in missed-call text-back. Best time to talk is [day/time].

That's enough for us to come back with a few specific questions, or a straight answer that texting isn't the right fix for you.

What happens next

Here's what to expect after you reach out.

  1. We reply, usually within one business day, either with a couple of questions or a suggested time to talk.
  2. A 30-minute conversation, free for eligible trades businesses. We look at your call numbers together and talk about how your customers reach you now.
  3. A written recommendation. What we'd set up, in what order, what it would cost within a plan, and what you'd pay vendors directly. If texting isn't worth it for you, we'll say so.
  4. Your decision. No pressure and no follow-up campaign. If you want to go ahead, we start with the call audit described on the text-back setup page.

Before you get in touch

A little preparation makes the call much more useful.

  • Pull a call log. One month is enough. Most providers let you download one from your online account.
  • Check your phone tools. Note which phone provider you use and whether you have any field-service or scheduling software; many include texting.
  • List every number customers use. Business line, owner's mobile, anything printed on trucks or old flyers.
  • Think about your hours. When are you genuinely unable to answer? Mornings on site? Evenings?

If you'd like to understand the numbers first, read the missed-call math guide.

If you'd rather not talk yet

That's fine. Read the guides first, try a simple text-back with the tool you already have, and come back when you've seen a month of results. We're happy to look at those numbers with you, and the conversation will be shorter and more useful because of it.

How we handle your contact details

We use your phone number and email only to reply to you about what you asked. We don't add anyone to marketing lists, and we only email people who contact us first. That's the same approach we recommend to clients, explained in our CASL texting guide.

Who you'll be talking to

Conversations are led by Ali Sedighi, MBA, who has more than 17 years in digital marketing and founded the conversion agency Conv.ca. CallText.Chat is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and works with contractors in every province and territory. We're a marketing and consulting service, not a contractor; we don't do any trade work. More about us is on the about page, and the group's trades agency is Trades.Agency.

Frequently asked questions

Should I call or text you?

Whichever is easier. If you're on a job, text us and we'll reply. If you'd rather talk it through, call. Email works best if you want to send a call log or screenshots.

What if I contact you outside business hours?

It waits for us until we're back at our desks. We keep Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific hours, and we usually reply within one business day of a message arriving.

Will you add me to a mailing list?

No. We reply to you about what you asked, and that's it. We only send messages to people who contact us first.

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. For eligible trades businesses the opening 30 minutes cost nothing and commit you to nothing.
