There's no long-term contract on any plan. Give 30 days' notice and you're done, while committing for a year earns the lower monthly figure. Before any of that, eligible trades businesses can book a 30-minute first conversation with us at no charge.
Where texting fits
For most contractors, texting is one part of a plan rather than the whole plan. A typical sequence inside a Growth plan looks like this:
- Month 1: call audit, missed-call text-back setup and a first set of reply scripts.
- Month 2: review of real threads, script rewrites, and a shared inbox if more than one person replies.
- Month 3 onward: quote follow-up, plus the rest of your marketing (local search, website conversion, reviews), so more calls arrive and fewer are lost.
If your phone already rings plenty and the only problem is response, the texting work comes first and takes up more of the early months. If calls are scarce, we'd usually spend more of the plan on getting found, because there's little to recover from a quiet phone.
Costs that sit outside our fee
Be clear on these before you start with anyone, not just us:
- Texting or phone software. Monthly subscriptions vary widely, and some field-service platforms already include texting you may be paying for. You pay the vendor directly.
- Message charges. Some tools charge per message or by bundle. Ask your vendor; they set these, not us.
- Number changes. Enabling texting on an existing landline or moving a number can carry a one-time fee from your provider.
- Ad spend. If your plan includes ads, money paid to the ad platforms is separate from the management fee and shown to you separately.
What drives cost up or down
Within any plan, effort goes where the leaks are. Things that make texting work quicker:
- one business number rather than several
- a phone or field-service tool that already supports texting
- a single person answering texts, at least at first
- two or three common job types rather than fifteen
Things that make it slower:
- customer texts arriving on several personal mobiles
- multiple locations or brands sharing staff
- French and English versions of every script (worth it in Quebec and bilingual markets, but it's real work)
- no record of how existing contacts were collected, which affects what you can send them
A worked example
Say your business misses 30 calls a month, and you estimate 10 of those were real job inquiries worth an average of $650 each. If text-back gets a reply from half of those callers and you book 40% of the replies, that's 2 extra jobs a month, or about $1,300 in revenue. Over a year, roughly $15,600.

Is the texting software included?
No, and that's deliberate. You pay the texting or phone vendor directly, in your business's name, so the number and history stay yours. We help you compare options and avoid paying for features you won't use.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. You pay month by month, nothing locks you in, and 30 days' notice ends it. Choosing annual billing is optional; it simply lowers the monthly rate.
What does sales tax add?
Text-back plans are priced in Canadian dollars, with GST/HST added for your province (GST and QST in Quebec). At 5% GST, the Growth plan at $1,999 per month is $2,098.95, or $1,573.95 per month on annual billing at $1,499.
